Mutual Resignation Letter Example

If you are resigning from your job then you should write a formal letter to your employer.

If you're quitting from your job with an agreement then you would need mutual resignation type letter for yourself.

I have never come across this before - is this new? I suppose this is something if you have come to the end of the road with the employer and its a case of resign or we sack you?

Probably not as common as the ordinary letters of resignation, but I do agree it's a good idea to put something in writing, and it's much easier if it's some agreement you've both come to.
