In 2009, I autonomously took it upon myself to start managing Glasgow based band, The Whisky Works. The first thing I did with them was to establish a year long strategy with various objectives. Some of these objectives were to be signed to an independent label, play out with their locale, have a national press, develop the band not only as musicians but as a functioning brand and ultimately increase audience development. All objectives were achieved.
